On the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II and the start of the 10th anniversary Eastern Economic Forum, representatives of the Association of the Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the Asia-Pacific Region took part in the opening ceremony of the historical exhibition “80 Years of Joint Struggle and Victory of the Soviet and Chinese Peoples in World War II”.
Materials for the exhibition were presented by the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Pacific Fleet Museum, the Asian-European Bureau of the Xinhua News Agency (PRC), and the Consulate General of the PRC in Vladivostok.
The Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the Asia-Pacific Region provided stands and materials for the exhibition about obelisks and burial sites of Soviet soldiers in China, which are carefully preserved by the Chinese people. The Chinese side presented its part under the title: "Sincere friends, tempered in trials."
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician Yu.N. Kulchin, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry A.P. Brovarets, Acting Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Vladivostok WANG Jun, President of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences Demberel Sodnomsabuu, heads of Russian administrative authorities and Chinese business structures. Guides - Russian and Chinese - conducted a tour of the exhibition for guests. The exhibition will be open in Vladivostok throughout the entire EEF-2025.
