ICIE at the 2026 Eastern Economic Forum: Business Meetings and New Agreements with Partners from Asia-Pacific Countries

A delegation from the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs participated in the XI Eastern Economic Forum, which was held in Vladivostok from September 1 to 4, 2026. The delegation focused on developing business ties with countries in the Asia-Pacific region, negotiations in logistics and shipbuilding, and expanding international cooperation.

The ICIE representative office organized a series of working meetings at the forum between representatives of South Korean business and academia—Congress partners—and Russian companies. The program included talks with the heads of logistics companies and shipbuilding corporations, as well as meetings with regional authorities.

Korwell Corporation President Kim Sung-tae held talks with the management of the logistics company Eco Shipping and the Delo Group, and also met with representatives of the Kamchatka Krai government. Kem Co., Ltd. President Kim Byung-gyu held a working meeting with the management of the Zvezda Shipbuilding Complex.

An important part of the program was the signing of cooperation agreements with the Roscongress Foundation. These were signed by Daejin University Professor Kim Hyun-ju and the head of the Northern Sea Route Foundation, Professor Woo Se-jin.

Representatives of the South Korean delegation attended the forum's plenary session, which featured Russian President Vladimir Putin. In an interview with state media, they praised the EEF's organization and expressed interest in cooperating with Russia.

The ICIE's international program also extended to other Asia-Pacific countries. During the forum, Congress representatives held working meetings with business delegations from Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia, and other countries in the region.

ICIE Vice President Evgeny Rusetsky participated in the 11th meeting of the Russian-Chinese Entrepreneurs' Consultative Committee. Furthermore, on the sidelines of the EEF, an agreement was signed on behalf of the ICIE with the Far East Development Corporation.

Participation in the forum continues the ICIE's work to develop direct contacts between Russian and foreign business communities. Organizing negotiations with companies, the scientific community, and regional authorities allows the Congress to maintain practical dialogue and facilitate the search for mutually beneficial cooperation.
