We invite you to take part in the international scientific and practical conference "80 years of the Great Victory. The struggle of the Soviet and Chinese peoples against Japanese militarism" , which will be held on September 16-18, 2025 in Harbin (PRC, Heilongjiang Province).

The conference aims to promote the study of the history of World War II in the Asia-Pacific region, to preserve the memory of the Soviet Union’s contribution to the liberation of China and the military brotherhood of the Soviet and Chinese peoples.

Conference topics:

• History of World War II in the Asia-Pacific region;
• The Chinese People's Struggle against Japanese Militarism in 1931-1945;
• The Far East of the USSR, China, Mongolia and Korea during the Second World War;
• Manchurian strategic offensive operation in August 1945;
• Preserving the memory of the Victory in World War II in China and the Russian Far East.

The working languages of the conference are Russian and Chinese.

The conference format is hybrid.

The conference will operate in person and via video conferencing, in real time for all participants living in different regions.

The session starts at 9:00 Beijing (Harbin) time, which is 4:00 Moscow time and 11:00 Vladivostok time (each day's session will last approximately 6 hours).

Following the conference, a collection of articles will be published in Russian and Chinese, assigned ISBNs, and posted on the elibrary.ru portal.
