The Association "KPP APR" took part in the round table "Asia-Pacific countries: key trends of modern development"

On February 18, the platform of the Center for Global and Regional Studies of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences hosted a round table entitled “Asia-Pacific Countries: Key Trends of Modern Development.” The following tasks were discussed during the round table:

  • to reconstruct qualitative trends in the key crisis subsystem (economic, social, military) and trace their influence on other subsystems of the USA, China, Japan, and the countries of the Korean Peninsula;
  • to identify and assess the external social, political, and economic manifestations of the crisis and their impact on the development of relations with Russia and among themselves;
  • to predict probable trends in the internal development of the states of the Asia-Pacific region in the near future.
 

The round table was attended by the Vice President of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Evgeny Rusetsky and the Director of International Cooperation of the CPP Asia-Pacific (collective member of the ICIE) Lyubov Samokhina.

Evgeny Rusetsky's speech was dedicated to the agreement on a comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and the DPRK, and

Lyubov Samokhina spoke on the topic: “Russia in international organizations: present and future.”
